 We have such a good kid.  And a neat kid too!  I don't know why I have felt the need to say so tonight in particular, but I definitely do.

The fact that you both feel that way and don't need to tie that feeling to any one particular action or trait of E's means that 1) you were meant to be parents and 2) E is one lucky kid.
